The mission of this department is to ensure public safety in Thomaston by enforcing the law in a manner consistent with the rights of all citizens.  The Thomaston Police Department is a small department but committed to providing services to our residents as quickly as possible.  We work hard for community partnerships through community policing and strive to work together with community leaders in problem-solving when there are issues that need to be addressed and to avoid future problems.  We will continue to work with the community we serve through community policing on a daily basis.  We will make every effort to do our best to keep this community a safe place to live.
